| Here’s every Nintendo Switch game available now (and what’s to come later this year) Posted: 29 Jun 2018 12:05 PM PDT Lory GilLory is a renaissance woman, writing news, reviews, and how-to guides for iMore. | Amazon’s portable Tap speaker with Alexa built-in has dropped to $85 Posted: 29 Jun 2018 12:05 PM PDT The Amazon Tap Alexa-enabled portable Bluetooth speaker is down to $84.99 on Amazon. This the first price drop we’ve seen since last year. While not great as great as some of the deals we saw over Black Friday, it’s been a while since the Tap has moved from its $130 price at all.
Unlike other Amazon devices, like the Echo Dot, the Tap isn’t chained to an outlet. It has a rechargeable battery that lasts up to nine hours (or eight if you choose the hands-free mode). It does have Alexa built-in and, thanks to that hands-free update, she will respond to your voice from anywhere. Take the Tap to the backyard or the garage and stream your favorite music, then put it back in the kitchen so Alexa can help you cook. Beyond just the portability, the Tap also has the best speakers of Amazon’s first generation of devices. Stream your music via Bluetooth for Dolby-powered 360-degree audio. | Posted: 29 Jun 2018 12:05 PM PDT ![]() That meant most of us only ever played Chuckie Egg on that most glorious of occasions: the last day of term. For the rest of the year, the game sat silent and tantalizingly out of reach in its metal prison. But rose-tinted spectacles are a dangerous thing. They are associated with numerous cases of crushing disappointment every single day as aging gamers dust off their fondly remembered vintage games only to discover that they are, and were always complete and utter garbage. Can Chuckie Egg escape this fate? Developed in the early 80s by a teenager called Nigel Alderton, Chuckie Egg sees you climbing ladders, navigating platforms, and avoiding enemies as you attempt to collect all of the eggs in each stage. Super Chuckie Egg naturally embellishes on the original. It embellishes on last year's Chuckie Egg 2017 as well, replacing the slow, deliberate, tricky gameplay of that remake with faster, easier, and more modern gameplay in which you race along collecting a string of eggs, the camera zooming in and out dynamically like in a Bourne film. It contains 36 stages across the four seasons of the year, and five difficulty levels. Unusually, you can play any stage you like from the outset, and once you've completed the game you'll get a chance to play the Title levels for additional kudos. | AT&T’s $15 Watch TV Service is Now Available Posted: 29 Jun 2018 12:05 PM PDT ![]() At the end of last week, AT&T announced two unlimited data plans that included free access to their new Watch TV streaming service. As of today, all of those new options are available, plus you can sign-up for the $15/mo Watch TV service without an AT&T plan. To recap, AT&T's Watch TV is a $15/mo streaming TV service that includes 30+ channels. You can see those channels right here, but the list includes AMC, Cartoon Network, CNN, Food Network, HGTV, IFC, TBS, TNT, and Viceland. They'll soon add BET, Comedy Central, and VH1 too. You'll notice that ESPN is not a part of this bundle. AT&T Watch TV works on Android, iOS, Apple TV, Chrome, and through Amazon's Fire TV products. Again, you can sign-up for this service by itself, but if you sign-up for one of the new Unlimited &More plans, you get it for free. There are two Unlimited &More plans, one that costs $70 for a single line and another that costs $80 for a single line. The $70 plan is called Unlimited &More, includes unlimited data (that can be throttled during times of network congestion), 480p video, and Watch TV. The $80 plan is called Unlimited &More Premium, includes non-throttled unlimited data (throttling can occur after 22GB of usage), 1080p video, 15GB hotspot, Watch TV, and your choice of another free streaming service (HBO, Cinemax, Starz, Showtime, etc.). | A Red OnePlus 6 is Coming July 2 Posted: 29 Jun 2018 12:05 PM PDT ![]() OnePlus sent this Tweet this morning and we're almost 100% positive that we are about to get a red OnePlus 6. The reference to "C61422" is likely a color hex, which is a red tone. The video accompanying that hex also shows a lot of red. Yeah, a red OnePlus 6 is coming on July 2.

| A red OnePlus 6 is probably being announced on July 2nd Posted: 29 Jun 2018 12:05 PM PDT OnePlus has shared on Twitter a strange and colorful 15-second clip that’s a pretty obvious indicator we’ll be seeing a red variant of the OnePlus 6 in the near future. Aside from the very red video, the tweet also includes a hex color code: C61422, which translates to — you guessed it — red. Along with the color code, the tweet contains the hashtag #OnePlus6. The video features a red-cloaked figure stepping out of an intensely red room to examine a vial containing a red crystal. Just before the end of the clip, “July 2” flashes on screen. All very subtle.
Photos have also cropped up on Slashleaks of a device that looks for all the world like a red OnePlus 6. The bold red finish on the phone’s glass back is certainly striking. A red OnePlus device wouldn’t be unprecedented. Earlier this year, we got a “Lava Red” edition of OnePlus’ previous phone, the OnePlus 5T. Here comes buyer’s remorse for all us poor saps who went with regular ol’ black. The post A red OnePlus 6 is probably being announced on July 2nd appeared first on Guaripete. |
| Android 8.0 Oreo rolls out to the LG G6 on T-Mobile Posted: 29 Jun 2018 12:05 PM PDT T-Mobile has finally gotten around to pushing Oreo to the LG G6. This will be its first major update since launching, but it’s still only landing on 8.0 rather than 8.1. At least it’s an update. Feel free to head to the update menu and mash the button, but you’ll probably have to wait a few days to get it on your device. The update (build H87220a) includes the Oreo system update as well as various unnamed bug fixes. The last update was a security patch in May, but it was still based on 7.0. After upgrading to Oreo, the G6 will support picture-in-picture video, autofill apps, and more. Like most carriers, T-Mobile rolls out OTAs over time. You can try to nab the OTA early by checking for updates, but Tmo shuts it down after it hits a daily limit. You can try again the following day or any time after July 30th when it’s available without limits. The post Android 8.0 Oreo rolls out to the LG G6 on T-Mobile appeared first on Guaripete. |
